A young man names Luis sits at a meal with his father as he texts with his love, Josh. "I'm doing it today babe."
Then Luis nervously begins, "Dad, I have something to tell you," but his father jumps up to take a phone call. He tries on a few more occasions, unsuccessfully.
Later the two young men are together and Luis apologizes to Josh for not doing it sooner. Josh understands but Luis' father sees the two together hugging and kissing romantically for the first time.
On Christmas Eve, Luis tells his father there's someone he wants him to meet. His father replies, "Sure, we can celebrate Noche Buena together. I"ll introduce you to someone too." Josh is introduced and his father just leaves the room and closes his door.
Confused and feeling rejected, the two wait but suddenly the door opens and a series of four drag queens walk out. Then the last one, in red, is revealed to be Luis' father, who has been hiding his secret too. They both accept each other with a hug.
The little table for two that the father and son normally eat at is expanded to accommodate all the dad's drag friends and they celebrate Christmas dinner together.
